Limited Release No. 10 comes to us from Finca Coyoacan in El Savador. This small estate is near the town of Santa Tecla on the western slopes of La Libertad.
The coffee is grown at 3600 feet in rich loamy soil from heirloom Red Bourbon arabica trees, carefully prepared in the fully washed method and sun dried on clay patios. Only the largest, healthiest beans are selected for the final sorting making this a SHG Plus grade – the best there is.
The result is a wonderfully clean, refreshingly bright cup with medium body, winey mouthfeel and a superb lemon zest character. A textbook example of what a great Central American coffee can be.
